For nearly 100 years, we have been harvesting and preparing horseradish each spring for friends and family. In the spring of 2010, Matt Schmitt, the 4th generation on the farm, decided to market this popular condiment. Since then, our original horseradish recipe has grown to include six additional varieties, including beet, cranberry, hot pepper and mustard horseradish, along with a BBQ and cocktail horseradish sauce. And for those of you horseradish connoisseurs, yes, it’s HOT… sinus-clearing HOT! We often joke that our customers branded the product because the common reaction of samplers seems to be HOLY SCHMITT it’s hot!
